Keeping a moggy is no child's play. There are numerous factors that moggy owners must take under consideration to make certain that their pet is well looked after. However, it's only human to slip up occasionally. Therefore here's a look at some of the commonest mistakes for moggy owners and how you can avoid the same.

There are many people who finish up buying a moggy on a whim. Buying 2 shoes or a t-shirt on a whim is one thing and purchasing a cat is another. A pussy-cat not only involves a bigger amount of cash but emotions and feelings too. Remember, your pussy-cat is a live creature at the day's end. Buying it one day only to give it away yesterday is definitely not sensible. Thus, it is really important that you consider all the arguments of adopting a cat before you finally go ahead.

To start, you should consider whether you are able to afford a cat or not. This is among the most crucial points to ask yourself before adopting one. Factor in all your other daily costs such as your groceries, tanning sessions, utility bills etc, to arrive at a call. If you suspect you can pay for your cat's upkeep even with these expenditures, go ahead and bring one home. Alternatively, if your position doesn't stretch that far ; avoid the adoption completely.

The cat like other pets needs a vet for medical attention. Certain vaccination and annual examination needs to be conducted on regular basis. Cats are powerful, they recover easily from illness but if an emergency isn't dealt with, it may turn lethal. Hence you need to be in a position to provide best vet facility to your pussy. It's not only the money you would require to do it you must have sufficient time to get things done as well. If you can not do hence your cat might die.

Many pussy owners make the typical mistake of selecting the wrong kind of food for their pet. They generally end up buying cheaper meals in an effort to economize. Doing so nonetheless could seriously compromise your cat's health and make him / her more subject to diseases. As a result, you may also finish up spending much more at the vet's. So, keep away from unhealthy fare that comes replete with grain fillers and select something more nutritious. After all, while the fillers may assist you in losing weight ; they may actually not help your pet prosper. Prime quality food from an alternative perspective, is more likely to ensure good health for your kitty.

Keep away from these mistakes before and after you adopt a pussy-cat and you are sure to be a great pet owner.

Cats eyes have often been used in horror films. But as a pet owner, you will know that the cats stare is really the complete opposite of what is portrayed in films. That is why cat eye care, is so very important for you to know.

How do cats say I love you? well this is through their eyes, of course. This is why you should never be frightened by there gaze. So how does this work? First of all, the cat stares at you for a long time. And after that, it blinks its eyes slowly. Some people call this the cats kiss. But you should also know that this is your cats way of showing you that it loves you.

But how do you return the favor? This is easy, all you need to do is follow your cats lead. Stare at it for a long time and then slowly blink your eyes. See? Cats eyes have also be used for romantic films as well.

Do not believe the horror films you see. Cats do not and never have had a third eye. Their eye sight is really far better than a humans. Instead of a third eye, what cats have is a third eyelid. This is called a nictitating membrane.

This inner eyelid protects the eyes of the cat from harm and also from dryness. You will always notice that when a cat is sick, this membrane will be some what closed. This should always alarm enough for you to call your vet or get your cat to them fast as possible.

But this third eyelid will also show once a cat is happy. So you will know what kind of mood your cat is in just by looking at the membrane.

You should always observe the pupil of your feline friend. A change in size of one of the pupils can often be an indication of an inflammation. It can also be a sign of a kind of a neurologic, disorder, this is called Horner's Syndrome. Or worse, it can also indicate tumors or injuries in the central nervous system.

Never believe what others say that cats are color blind. They do see some colors. They may not see them as clear as human do, but its not true that they cannot see any colors at all.

Cats can also see clearly over long distances. There vision is very different from peoples. There vision will blurry if they are looking at objects that are very close to them.

Yes it is true, cats do have the nocturnal vision. But they can not see in complete darkness. Do you see the muscles on their iris that surround the pupils of their eyes? They are constructed in a way that it narrows into a vertical split when they are exposed in the bright lights. And it opens fully when they are in a quite dim light.

This feature of the cat may be traced back to their roots. They can use this feature to hunt for food during the night, that is if they were left out in the jungle or left with no one to care for them.

So you must forget about the horror movies that you have seen. Now it is time to put some effort into your cats eye care. Never let a minor ailments worsen. Always call your vet immediately when you think there is something not right or amiss. You do not want your cat to lose their sight or even worse lose their lives. Just remember it is always better to be safe than blind.

People who prefer to take care of dogs instead of cats say that cats aren't smart enough for them because they cannot be trained. Whilst dogs may be much easier to train than cats it isn't true that cats can't be trained. You simply should be very patient with them and be able to face challenges. Like dogs, coaching cats may also be more difficult than kittens however, it may still be done. Coaching cats will just take more time to do than training kittens but, you are going to see some results.

Training older cats to use a clutter field for the primary time may turn out to be a problem if all along it's been allowed to pee and poop anywhere it pleases. What you'll be able to do is place the litter box in your toilet and take away any cushy surfaces just like the rugs on the floor. Be certain that nothing in the bathroom will pick the odor of the cat. Introduce the clutter box and position the cat inside it, this will introduce the cat to the cushy and sandy surface of the litter. The cat may almost certainly jump out of the clutter box in an instant however, let it be. Keep the toilet door shut for 10 to 15 minutes. When you come back and the cat has still not used the litter box you'll be able to introduce the poop of another cat via putting some of this inside the litter box. Given that cats have a very strong sense of smell, they are able to relate the smell of the poop to going to the bathroom. The older the cat is, the longer the time you need to spend training it to use the litter box. While the cat in spite of everything makes use of the litter box, remember to give treats or some kind of reward to ensure that the cat associates what it did with good behavior.

Introducing new cats and kitten to older cats may be a troublesome task. Coaching older cats to engage with other cats will test your patience and your training skill; I personally found that it was much easier with the support of a simple course. Older cats usually don't love to be in the company of very naughty and curious kittens. You will have to supervise their interaction for the first few weeks. You'll also must guarantee the older cat that in spite of a new kitten around the attention you provide will nonetheless be the same. You'll be able to provide them toys to play with and just supervise them whilst together. Make sure that they have got separate litter boxes and separate meals bowls so that no jealousy will happen. Training older cats to getting along with other cats or kittens is probably not as exhausting as you think it is. You simply need to commit enough time and energy to accomplish the task. Whenever you see the consequences you have been hoping for than you already know that your entire laborious work has paid off.

Training animals, especially cats can be very rewarding and satisfying, but at the same time it can be time consuming and requires patients, never the less once you get the results you will be very happy and you will feel a pure sense of joy with your accomplishment. To achieve those results it is important to be guided by an expert, as it is almost impossible to be able to train animals without any real experience and without any proper training. Here you've been introduced into an insight on how to start to train cats, but realize that there is allot more to it and that some really amazing results can be achieved with the right guidance.

------

Training cats and other animals has been a passion of mine for many years, and in spite of the challenges that I faced during the years I have to say that the rewards have been so great that I could have never wished for better. Once you understand how to train cats and you follow a system you can be sure to obtain the results you want >> Cat Training

When you decide to be a mother to orphaned kittens, you only need to extend your patience, care, and time for these animals. Here are the things that you can do to make this job easier for you.

1. Give her a warm home.
Kittens need to feel warm. Thus, you have to make a comfortable place for them. Put them in a small box and fill it with old clothes. Though you need to put a 40-watt lamp over the box to make it warm, you still need to cover it since small kittens are sensitive to light. Another way to keep them warm is to put warm water into a bottle and put this inside the box as well. Just replace the water when it gets cold already.

2. Feed the kittens with the use of an eyedropper or syringe.
You can use an eyedropper for the first few days. This will be similar to the nipple of a mother cat. As the young ones grow, they will need bigger nipples and bigger helpings of the formula. Thus, you will need bigger syringes too. Go to your vet clinic to buy used or new syringes.
3. Feed them with kitty formula.
The kitty formula is composed of a cup of whole milk, an egg yolk, a tablespoon of white corn syrup, and a pinch of salt. Mix all these in a blender and warm over medium heat.

4. Feed them three times a day.
They should be fed only three times a day and on a regular schedule.

5. Groom and get them to clean their bladders and eliminate bowels.
Since they are unable to groom themselves, clean them with a wet washcloth. To help them empty their bladders and bowels out, wipe the area under their tails with wet washcloth.
6. Make a litter pan when they are a month old.
After four weeks, they can already empty their bladders and bowels on their own but you should train them to go to the litter pan first. This way, you will not keep on cleaning after their mess.

7. After six weeks, feed them solid food.
After six weeks or after their teething period, feed them with solid food such as kitten chow. To get them to try the chow, give them an appetizing little canned kitty food.

8. Watch them grow and develop abilities.
Kittens, while growing up, are like human babies. They can give you joy as they learn to do things and gain strength to play with each other. This will truly make you feel like a mother.

Cats sulk for a number of reasons. A cat that has been scolded by its owner oftentimes will turn its back and with disdain refuse to look at him or her. Some cat owners describes this 'snubbing manner' this way: My cat turns its back, sits down on purpose, and will not respond if we call its name as it normally does, although it occasionally lays one ear back.' This conduct, noted by some owners when their pets have been corrected or disciplined in some manner, is generally referred to as a dignified sulk. But why is the cat really behaving this way?

The answer isn't that it's exhibiting wounded pride...this is usually what the owner thinks...but rather the pet is displaying its social inadequacy. Its arrogance is external, not genuine. Accepting this for some owners is hard to understand, since they have so much admiration for their feline friend. However they miss the fact that, to the cat, they're overwhelming and thus psychologically overpowering. When a cat acts up and doesn't behave and its owner snaps at it, the cat feels endangered. An owner's wrath at the cats misbehavior usually includes rough tones and intent staring. Staring is extremely unnerving to a cat and its instinctive reaction is to evade the unpleasant image of the staring eyes.

This activity is called 'cut-off' because it cuts off the input signal...the unpleasant face towering over it. It causes a twofold effect. It reduces the fearfulness in the cat itself and allows it to remain where it is, instead of moving off into the distance. It also hinders the cat from staring back, which would spell rebelliousness and possibly encourage more animosity.

The significance of this 'anti-stare' in a cat's social life is plain whenever two cats are embroiled in a status conflict. The dominant cat constantly maintains a fixated stare pointed towards its opponent. The inferior cat, if it wishes to defend its ground, purposely looks away from its foe and makes totally certain that its stare never goes anywhere near the glaring eyes of its opponent.

The stare threat event also illustrates another peculiarity of cat behavior. A few observers have observed that domestic cats, when hunting small birds in the garden, seem to be surprisingly intelligent in one specific regard. If the bird's head disappears behind some small obstacle, the cat can be seen to charge forward and pounce, as if it knows that at that moment the bird can't see its speedy approach. For the cat to rationalize this out would call for considerable mental agility, however there is of course a simpler explanation. As long as the bird's eye is in view, it's automatically giving the cat a stare that inhibits its attacking lurch. Once the eye is accidentally out of sight behind some obstruction, the stare is turned off and the cat can attack. Studies of big cats stalking prey have uncovered a similar interaction. If the prey looks up and stares straight at the lion or tiger, the big cat looks sheepishly away as if all of a sudden it's indifferent to the whole business of predation. So for any prey with the courage to hold its ground and stare down a hunting lion, there's some considerable advantage to be earned.

Different types of cat breeds have different temperaments and personalities. Knowing those traits is important before adopting a cat. Here are some of the more popular Cat Breeds.

If you are a cat owner, here is a question for you - what are the right kinds of meds for urinary tract crystals in cats? If you said natural homeopathic supplements, pat yourself on the back - you are perfectly right. If you said antibiotics, you are right to some extent. So, not a bad try.

What is so important about choosing the right kind of meds for urinary tract crystals in cats? The answer is very simple. Urinary tract crystals can be unbelievably painful and uncomfortable for your cat. And, most importantly, if left untreated for a long time, they could be fatal as well. So, as soon as you find out that your cat is suffering from urinary tract stones, you need to treat it appropriately.

Before I tell you more about the meds for urinary tract crystals in cats, I need to tell you something about the most common causes of urinary tract stones. They include

Poor diet - If you give your cat commercial pet food that has a low water content, such as dry kibble, it will dehydrate your cat. Most premium foods are now made to help prevent the formation of one type of stone which used to be common, struvite. They did this by lowering the magnesium content of the food. Unfortunately, this will not prevent the most common type, oxalate, from forming.

In the wild or when outdoors, cat's feed on mice. But what most people do not know is that around 90% of the mouse's body is water. In other words, cats that feed on mice get plenty of water from the food they eat. So, when you domesticate it and feed it dry pet food, it naturally becomes dehydrated. This is why you should give your cat canned food that is low in magnesium and has high water content.

Urinary retention - If your cat holds its urine back for a long time, it could be very harmful to its health. So, you should always make sure you place a litter box next to your cat.

Urinary tract infections - Sometimes, urinary tract crystals could be caused by urinary infections as well. Though it is rare, it happens. In general, around 5% of the cats in the world today are affected by kidney stones that are caused by bacterial infections. An infection causes inflammation in the urinary tract. With inflammation, crystals, the building blocks of stones, cannot pass through the urethra.

When you consult a vet, he will usually suggest antibiotics to treat infections and kidney stones. But antibiotics are generally meant for a temporary relief and they tend to weaken your cat's immune system when given regularly. So, it is not advisable to give antibiotics to cats regularly. The best meds for urinary tract crystals in cats, according to me, and a lot of experts around the world, are homeopathic remedies.

Homeopathic remedies are very good for your cat's health. They strengthen its immune system and improve the urogenital health of your cat. They can treat urinary tract infections and kidney stones in a remarkably short period of time. In most cases, you will see a lot of improvement in your cat's health in just about a week or two. Above all, they do not cause any side effects or allergic reactions at all. They are completely natural and completely safe as well. This is why they are considered the best meds for urinary tract crystals in cats.

Giving a regular dose of homeopathic remedies not only strengthens your cat, but also prevents recurring bacterial infections. So, a good diet along with natural homeopathic meds for urinary tract crystals in cats is the simplest way to keep your cat healthy and happy for a long time.

It is possible that if your cat has struvite stones, that dietary change can be used to dissolve these types of crystals. However, if your cat has large oxalate stones, surgery might be required, which is why taking preventive measures makes sense.

If not treated in time, urinary tract infection in cats can develop into a serious problem. There are a few tried and tested home remedies for cats with urinary infection that will take care of the problem.

Urinary tract infection can effectively be treated with a tisane (tea) of several antiseptic and disinfecting herbs such as uva ursi, horsetail, juniper berry, cleavers, cornsilk, stinging nettle and marshmallow leaf.

Mix half a teaspoon of uva ursi leaves with half a teaspoon of horsetail and half a teaspoon of juniper berries. Add half a litre of water, bring to the boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Remove from the heat and add half a teaspoon each of cleavers, cornsilk, stinging nettle and marshmallow leaf. Cover the mix and let it cool down. Give one dropperful every three hours.

Uva ursi acts as an antiseptic and will clean the urinary tract. It is a bitter tasting herb and you can neutralise the bitterness by adding some vegetable glycerine to the mix. Horsetail will disinfect the urinary system and juniper berries are antiseptic and diuretic. Cleavers and cornsilk are soothing kidney tonics and also mildly diuretic. Stinging nettle is another tonic herb that nourishes the entire system. Cornsilk and marshmallow are demulcent herbs and will prevent irritation of the urinary tract by the cleansing herbs.

For acute infections add one drop of echinacea tincture per five pounds of body weight to the mix and administer at the intervals given above until the infection clears.

Other home remedies for cats with urinary tract infection are cranberries and blueberries, which prevent bacteria from taking hold in urinary tract tissue. Cranberry juice extract capsules and blueberry juice will do the job. They help control the infection and also acidify the urine.

Barley water is an excellent remedy for urinary tract infections. Boil 25g of pearl barley in a little water for a few minutes. Strain and add one litre of boiling water. Boil down to half and add some honey and 100ml of grape juice. Give four dropperfuls daily.

You can also help your cat by providing pain relief with natural remedies. Cantharis is very useful for cats who are straining to urinate. It is highly recommended if there is blood in the urine. Give two to three pellets of 30C potency 2-3 times a day.

Drinking extra fluids is also important when treating urinary tract infections, so encourage your cat to drink more water and add water or tea to her food. Drinking all this extra fluid will help to flush out toxins as your cat's bladder will get emptied regularly. Make sure the water is clean. Filtered or spring water are preferable as chemicals in the drinking water make some cats avoid drinking, resulting in thickening of urine which hinders regular emptying of the bladder.

Strengthen your cat's urinary tract by providing vitamin C. This has anti-inflammatory properties and strengthens the lining of the bladder. Depending upon the weight of your cat, administer 250-500mg twice a day. However, vitamin C can cause diarrhoea, so you have to get the dosage right.

Conventional treatments for urinary tract infect in cats are based on urine and blood tests to identify bacteria that cause the infection and to give antibiotics to eliminate it. The natural remedies for cats discussed above look towards treatment along immunity boosting with a view to reducing any recurrence.

I have reviewed studies on getting rid of fleas from sources such as the University of Kentucky, Texas A&M, and the Humane Society. I have condensed the information in a three part article:Fleas, Protecting Your Home, and Protecting Your Pet. If you want to know how to rid fleas from your home and improve dog and cat health, you must first understand how they live.

Fleas

Adult:

Here are the key details about adult fleas, your most effective killer against them is an insecticide, and they despise the heat so spray moist shaded areas and around your dog or cat enclosures. Interesting fact number one, that the tiny "dirt" you see on your pet it is not dirt; it is flea droppings-dried blood to be exact. Adults feed on fresh blood, so contaminating its food source, your pet's blood, may not be an exciting prospect for you. After taking their fill, they excrete the blood, which dries and eaten by the larvae, lovely.

Pupa:

Ironically, the flea pupa stage is like the butterfly. The larva forms a cocoon and inside of that a pupa is formed. Five months later an adult emerges, were in can stay alive for two weeks without a host. Interesting fact number two, an adult flea can break out of its cocoon in seconds if a host passes by, before fully maturing. Due to the cocoon protective layer, the pupa stage is the hardest to kill. Even after controlling the environment and pet you may see fleas, which are probably hatching adults.

Larvae:

Larvae are ¼ inch long white worm-shaped insects, and they are more likely found in your pets bedding, they do not live in pet fur. Why? After adults have fed they excrete dried blood, which usually falls to the bedding or floor, where the awaiting larvae feed. In desperate times they will also feed on organic material like dead skin or food particles to sustain themselves. Contaminating its food source is an effective way to kill larvae, simply by poisoning the dry blood. Interesting fact number three, temperatures hotter than 95 degree Fahrenheit kill larvae.

Eggs:

Interesting fact number four, the average number of eggs laid per day by fleas, twenty-seven. That means in one average lifespan, around 8 days (longer on long-haired pets), a staggering 216 eggs can be laid. Once birthed, eggs drop off your pet and usually land on bedding or in your dog and cat enclosures. Basically, wherever your pet sleeps you can expect a heavy concentration of flea eggs.

I absolutely adore Persian Kittens and Himalayan Kittens. I also adore MeowHouseKittens. Meow House Kittens is a world renowned cattery, but you would never know it based on their business practices. They absolutely adore kittens. They adore kittens even more than I do as hard as that is to imagine.

MeowHouseKittens is the most levelheaded and kindhearted cattery I've ever come across. I've come across some pet breeders that really stick their nose in the air and think they are better than others. Some even think their customers are worth nothing more than just money.

Meow House Kittens certainly does not operate that way. The kittens and the customer truly come first. It is really hard to find honest and trustworthy people these days, but I truly trust and believe in MeowHouseKittens. I've personally met and spoke with the founder of Meow House Kittens several times and she is the kindest lady you will ever encounter. MeowHouseKittens was founded by a middle school art teacher by the name of Shannon McGraw.

Shannon has a really interesting and compelling story. She began Meow House Kittens after her kids left the house to go off to college. It was apparently a dream of hers for a while to start a cattery. She's truly living her dream now and is receiving a lot of credit for the great kittens she breeds.

MeowHouseKittens is a member of several different cattery organizations and they have even been rated on popular cat sites such as: KittySites.com.

About Himalayan Cats:

The Himalayan is a breed of long-haired cat identical in type to the Persian, with the exception of its blue eyes and point coloration, which were derived from the crossing of the Persian with the Siamese. In Europe they are referred to as colorpoint Persians.

While the Himalayan is considered a breed separate from the Persian by The International Cat Association, it is grouped together with the Persian and Exotic Shorthair(shorthaired version of the Persian) under a "Persian Breed Group standard". The Cat Fanciers' Association considers the Himalayan a color variation of the Persian rather than as a separate breed, although they do compete in their own color division.

The body of a Himalayan is white or cream, but the points come in many different colors: blue, brown, lilac, chocolate, flame, red and cream. The points can also be tabby or tortoiseshell-patterned. Both the chocolate and lilac point Himalayan are the most difficult to produce. These color traits are autosomal recessive, meaning both parents must possess the gene in order for any offspring to express the trait. The Himalayan cat has short legs which makes it harder for them to jump as high as other cats do. Also they have very round bodies and weigh around 13 pounds on average.

These cats are sweet-tempered, intelligent and generally very social and good companions. Because of their heritage from the Siamese cats they tend to be more active than Persians. They are more prone to hairballs than other breeds. Due to the amount of inbreeding involved in breeding these cats commercially, they are prone to genetic deformities and have a greater likelihood for developing inherited problems such as joint problems, organ abnormalities, and particularly Polycystic kidney disease among other diseases.

Don't let the cuteness of a new baby kitten fool you, these loveable critters can be a lot of work. Kittens are normally done with their weaning period at 12 weeks of age, so you shouldn't be bringing home a kitten that is younger than 12 weeks old. A healthy kitten will have pink ears, pink gums and clear eyes. Keeping your kitten healthy while it's growing is an important part of raising a cat that will live a long and happy life.

Just like any young pet, kittens need some guidance. Letting a kitten roam around your house doing whatever it likes will only result in messes and frustration, so begin acclimating your kitten to its new home as soon as possible. At first, a kitten should have its own little space like a part of a kitchen, a bathroom or even a spare bedroom or den. Fill this room with the kitten essentials: a litter box, food, water and toys. This will keep the kitten occupied, while also beginning to teach it that it needs to pee in the litter box.

If you have other pets or children in the home, you'll want to gradually introduce them to the kitten after the kitten is showing signs of being comfortable in its new environment. Pay close attention to the kitten, not leaving it alone for long periods of time and giving it plenty of loving and affection. After all, you're its new parent. Playtime helps the kitten build muscle and develops a strong bond between you and the kitten. Also make sure that anyone else that lives in the home plays with the kitten when it's young so that it begins to form bonds with all members of the family.

Once your kitten is comfortable in its room, you can begin doing a little bit of training. Litter box training is important, and starting this training at a young age will only help the kitten, and save you the trouble of cleaning up messes around the house. Spending a lot of time with your kitten, especially after it eats and drinks, will allow you to know when your kitten is about to do its business. If you see that your kitten is about to urinate, gently lift it and place it in the litter tray or litter box that you have set up. Reward a kitten with praise and treats when it uses the litter box to encourage the repeated behavior.

You can also get your kitten used to grooming while its young. This will lead to a much easier time down the road when your adult cat needs to be groomed. Brush your kitten's fur and teeth regularly so that it becomes comfortable with this kind of touching. You can also touch your kittens paws a lot so that it gets used to paw touching for future nail clipping and other grooming.

The key to raising a happy and healthy kitten is making sure it's comfortable in its new home, and that you are spending enough time playing, grooming and training the new kitten. Your kitten will grow up in no time, and you'll have a fun and loveable cat if you put in the time and effort when it's young.

This is an exciting time of the year for many American consumers, as tax time approaches. No, most people are not too excited about filing their income tax return, but most people receive a refund each year, and this year that refund averages out to a little more than $2000. That windfall is usually quickly spent on a new TV or a vacation or as a down payment on a new car. Tax refunds are rarely spent wisely, which is a pity.

The average American household carries nearly $10,000 in credit card debt, and that $2000 or so could go a long way towards paying that debt down. Of course, few people will see it that way, as such a large sum of money just seems better suited towards some large purchase. But what if that $2000 was in your pocket all along? Could you have done something smarter with it?

The tax refund that most people receive each year is just that; a refund. It means that the taxpayer paid more money in taxes than he or she owed, and for the average taxpayer, that means about $170 per month. That money has effectively been lent to the government, interest-free, for a year. With most people heavily in debt, who can really afford to lend the government money at no interest for a year? Couldn't that money be put to better use year-round?

Of course it can. That money can be used each and every month to reduce debt. If consumers would simply adjust their tax withholdings by filing a new form W-4 with their employers, the amount of taxes taken out of their paychecks could be reduced accordingly. That means, on average, an extra $170 per month, every month in the paycheck. And that money would be available to make extra payments on those monthly credit card bills. It's a far cheaper and easier way to reduce debt than to go through some complicated and expensive debt consolidation plan.

The W-4 form allows tax deductions for each dependent child and offers allowances for employees who are married. Each time that status changes, employees should reevaluate their tax payments and fill out a new form accordingly. If you have no idea how much should be withheld from your paycheck, you can go to the Web site of the Internal Revenue Service and try their tax-withholding calculator. There is no reason to lend interest-free money to the IRS when you could be using that money to pay off your bills that are accruing interest at 20%. Use your money wisely.
