I bought this from a different vendor last year for my outdoor cat who stays in the garage all winter (In Michigan). I placed it inside an extra large covered litter box, to create a "cat house". My cat loves this bed. It is very sturdy construction, with a heavy flocked fake nubuck on the outside and a thick heavy berber fleece on the inside. The lining stays put, and washes well when neccessary. This year I bought another similar bed made by the same manufacturer, but it was not the same quality. The newer, less expensive bed had a very flimsy lining that doesn't stay put. Pay the extra $20.00 and buy this one instead.

My 18-year old Siamese LOVES this bed. She spends her days in the Snuggle Bed and her nights curled up next to me in my bed.
