Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
All cats are susceptible to Feline Herpes Virus (FHV-1). It is estimated that at least 80% of all the cats in the world are infected with Feline Herpes Virus, which is a major cause of the most severe and widespread respiratory infection in cats, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR). Up to 80% of cats who contract FHV-1 remain lifelong carriers of this highly contagious virus and can pass it on to uninfected cats through viral shedding. Reactivation of the virus may occur spontaneously throughout an infected cat's lifetime, although it is often associated with stress. FHV-1 presents a greater threat to kittens, in whom it causes severe respiratory and ocular symptoms. While mortality is generally low in adult cats, it can reach 30% in kittens. In adult cats, FHV-1 flare ups are often hard to differentiate from the other two main feline infectious respiratory diseases, calicivirus and chlamydiosis.Helps lessen the frequency and severity of FHV-1 infections. Enisyl-F is extremely tasty and is easily accepted by most cats.Clinical Symptoms and Diagnosis:Acute attack of sneezing accompanied by nasal dischargeConjunctivitis and ocular involvement:Varying degrees of decrease in general health.Dosage:Adult Cats: 1 to 2 ml twice a day, or as recommended by your veterinarian.Kittens: 1 ml twice a day, or as recommended by your veterinarian.

5 out of 5 stars Lysine for my cat   April 26, 2008
It's lysine for my cat. I give it to him to prevent conjunctivitis and he loves it.

This is a great product for calming the feline herpes virus.
Order was processed as promised.
This is my second order from this seller.

5 out of 5 stars Helped my Kittens a lot!   March 29, 2008
My Devon Rex kittens came to me from a not so great breeder with chronic eye infections and colds. After multiple rounds of antibiotics and an FIP misdiagnoses. I took them to a vet specializing in cats and found out that thankfully it wasn't FIP but feline herpes. Vet prescribed this along with 3 months of interferon. My Kittens are now healthy and happy 11 month olds. They are still on the Enisyl-F but sneezing is way down and the eye infections thankfully have become a thing of the past. And the kittens love getting this.

4 out of 5 stars Decent Product   March 26, 2008
My cat LOVES the Enisyl-F paste. He yells for it every morning and evening and gobbles it up before I even manage to get the pump out of the way.
It is difficult to tell how effective this product is, but at least my cat likes it and I don't have to struggle with him to get him to take it.

5 out of 5 stars Enisyl-F Works   March 3, 2008

My vet originally recommended Enisyl for my kitten who was struggling with chronic upper respiratory infections. The Enisyl, combined with antibiotics took care of the flare up. Now I give him Enisyl whenever he starts to show signs of getting sick (usually the eye starts twitching), and so far we've successfully avoided another bout for five months. Lysine is not meant to attack the virus itself, but rather helps the cat's immune system do a better job. I'm no virologist, but to me, it's worth the money to avoid expensive trips to the vet and extra medications.
