This collar has been on my cat for a couple of weeks now and all seems to be well. No fleas, no ticks, no scratching,and no skin irritation. All seeems to be well. I got this one because of the break-away snap, which for me is a good idea. My cat is very active and I didn't want the collar to be something that caused him to get stuck on something. It's still on him and he's still fine so it seems to be good.br /
