Large mat for under the litter box, does the job keeping most of the litter from their paws on the mat.

I tried several different type of litter mat, sadly that I have not yet found the perfect one. Comparing with others this one is not bad.

I purchased this product with the expectation that it would eliminate cat litter from being tracked in the house. It works but not perfectly. I suspect that a piece of carpet would work just as well.
Decent litter mat July 8, 2007
The mat works well at preventing litter from spreading around. It's sticky, so litter does stick to it and not all of it comes off when you shake it into a garbage can. It's very similar to a yoga mat so if you can find a yoga mat for less, go that route and you'll still get decent results.br /br /My cats were initially bothered by the stickiness but it only took a couple days for them to get over it.

I bought the striped one, which was a bit brighter than I expected, but it serves the purpose of protecting the carpet. It is easy to trim to trim to your liking and looks natural. The only bad part was that the liter sticks to the mat and it makes it hard to clean.
