This is a cotton canvas tool bag. The material is okay. However, it is not as puncture, abrasion or mildew resistant as the current Genuine G.I. Mechanics Toolbag made from cordura nylon .br /br /The Genuine G.I. Mechanics Toolbag also has a real solid brass zipper. Please read my review on it Genuine G.I. Mechanics Toolbag - Black.br /br /So for a few dollars more, you would do better investing in a higher quality, longer lasting tool bag.br /br /Here it is in black nylon cordura Genuine G.I. br /These bags are seemingly identical to the original issue bags.br /I bought two and am delighted to have them. I use one as a range bag for my pistol the other as a tool bag.
