It worked really well for keeping my dog in the back. Although is leaves impressions on the interior.

I got the 4" bar" model for a Lexus RX350. I threw out the Midwest cage style as the holding brackets failed to support the extensions; they continued to slip and rattle. That was a terrible design.br /This Highland is an exceptional design. The vertical supports move left and right to best fit, and the horizontal bars move up and down. The ends pull out or push in to create a custom fit. All the bars are matte black for an elegant look.br /The "6 bar" model is probably best for a minivan or an SUV if you keep the back seats folded flat.br /It is solid and well engineered, but if you have a "high-energy dog" or a large dog (over 40-50 pounds) I think they offer a "heavy-duty" design that might be better suited for the larger animal.
