cute, fun, and sturdier than most plush dog toys March 24, 2008

i love the jakks' max lucy line, and grrregory is no exception. in addition to the cute, quirky design, the toy is very well made, with some of the sturdiest seams in the dog-toy market. the squeaker is "well insulated," with ample stuffing around it (if my aggressive chewer can "feel" the squeaker under the outer material, it's as good as gone; he tears through the plush to see what makes his toy feel different in that one spot). grrregory and his pal wheezer have now survived two months at our house without so much as a rip.br /br /like any plush toy, these toys probably wouldn't survive a dog determined to destroy them, but they definitely stand more than a fighting chance against those who just like to chew and squeak but sometimes get carried away.
