This self-contained 12 volt dimmer and on/off switch is designed for precise control of interior accent lighting in your auto, truck, RV, boat or aircraft. With a 1/4 shaft and easy screw-down terminals, you can install this controller in minutes. Its PWM (pulse width modulation) design is the preferred method to control LED lighting for light strips, map lights, under panel, baggage or utility lighting. It supports up to 18 Watts (1.5 A, 12VDC) so you can use this controller for many low current LED products. The dimmer ships direct from us with an instruction manual to assist your installation. Note that the dimmer should always be used with an in-line fuse between your power source and the dimmer, to protect your lighting devices and the dimmer. The dimmer's design includes over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity protection and it's circuit board is conformal coated to help insulate the circuit from surrounding metal and wires. Easy to install and use - ideal for many different applications.
