Product Description GREAT LOOKING NEW SUPER FEEDER MOUNT! This combo deal comes complete with two heavy-duty black ABS stands ready for mounting brackets, one DUAL outlets type 7-day digital timer to trigger both feeders at same time, two stainless steel bowls (a must have for cats) and all other harware needed to assemble along with instructions. As an added bonus, this package deal includes two installed chute covers (a $10 option) to make the feeders totally intrusion-proof for those "locksmith" cats. NOTE: with the chute cover, you should not use food larger than 3/8" thick by 1/2" long (ie. Sensible Choice Brand 1/4" kibbles perfect). Some larger food may work fine, but the best thing to do is to test it first. If food is a bit too large, you can remove the covers or choose a smaller food type. The feeders and stands require very minor assembly only using a small and medium size Phillips-head screwdriver. Each feeder holds 4 3/4 cups of dry food (a bit over a quart) and could be expended later with our optional 1.5 gallon hopper. Like all other Super Feeders, this feeder will feed from very small portions to large portions as many times as the remote timer has on-off cycles (up to 8 per day with this timer). You can save money by purchasing this double feeder combo package deal instead of two separate ones. Note: Although the feeder will not feed during a power outage, the digital timer will keep time and programs while power is off, and normal feed cycles will resume when power is restored. No need to re-program the timer when disconnected from power or feeder. For the feeder not to feed, the power would have to be off at the very minute the feeder is scheduled to feed. Several feed cycles per day are recommended. We do not recommend battery power. Great back-up set-up too, by using two feeders!

| Customer Reviews:
Just what we needed! December 1, 2008 I purchased the double feeder based off of the reviews I read on the single feeder. I have 2 cats, one of which is a binge eating fat cat - she loves to plop down with her face in the bowl and gorge herself until the food is gone. There are times that feeding them multiple meals a day would be impossible, and on occasion I'm gone for several days in a row. I figured a decent autofeeder was exactly what we need.br /br /The super feeder allows for a much finer quantity of food to be distributed than most of the commercial feeders. Whereas they were both getting about 1/4 cup of food once a day before (or a full bowl if I was going to be gone several days), I now have them on a schedule of 3 feedings a day, with maybe 2 dozen or so food nuggets dropping. I basically just used the manual feed 3x, measured it out and was going for a bit less than 1/4 cup for each.br /br /Another nice bonus of this is that the cats no longer wake me up in the morning begging for food. It's been 2 weeks and they've become adjusted to the noise of the feeder to announce dinner time, instead of me getting up and feeding them.br /br /Awesome response time by the seller, I ordered it on a Sunday, had my shipping confirmation email monday lunchtime, and it arrived on Wednesday - though I had requested expedited shipping as I needed the feeder for the coming weekend.br /br /Assembly is pretty simple, the manual is kinda cheap looking and the images are at the end instead of inline - but they weren't really needed for assembling it. The only "issue" I had was with the timer, and that was due to me not fully reading the directions. After finalizing the feeding schedule and doing some manual feeds to set the amount of food to drop, you need to unplug everything and do a 5 second reset on each feeder, then plug it back in. I missed one feeding because I didn't do the reset. Also note that for the timer you need to set the ON time, and an OFF time, and that the gap between them should be more than 3 minutes. And the OFF time should be 30-60 minutes before the next ON time. What that meant for me is that I have the timer ON at 6am, OFF at 6:30am (even though the feed will only happen once). Next ON is at noon, OFF at 12:30. ON at 6pm, OFF at 6:30pm. br /br /** Update 12/11/08br /Several weeks later I have one complaint / issue - the foodbowls slide around as the cats try to get the last few nuggets in the bowl. My solution was to use some screws clips to make it so that the bowls have a limited space to slide around in. A design suggestion I'd have for the manufacturer would be to find a way to stop the bowl from sliding around.
Best automatic feeder on the market. A must have! November 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Buy this feeder, buy this feeder, buy this feeder! My only regret about this product is that I didn't purchase it sooner. This product is everything that it promises to be and so much more. The set-up is super easy if you watch the link on the seller's web site (http://www.super-feeder.com/quickinstall.html), which I recommend doing simultaneously while setting up the feeder(s). Both feeders took less than 10 minutes to assemble and put in place for the first feed cycle. Adjusting the amount of food was a lot easier than I had anticipated since I was apprehensive about not having a digital method available, but to my surprise it was both very easy and very accurate after only a little bit of trial and error. I love the timer that comes with this product the most. You don't have to read the instructions to set it, and the ability to plug both feeders into it is a godsend. The best part is once you have set the feeding times, even if it is un-plugged, it has an internal memory that keeps both the time and the feeding schedules so it doesn't have to be set again. The only thing that takes some getting use to is the sound of the food being dispensed. It is somewhat loud, but you can disable part of the feeder chute to minimize the noise, but it only lasts for a few seconds and some cats rely on this sound(similar to a can opener) to know that it is time to eat. I live alone and the first time it ran I had forgotten about it and it scared me half to death. br /br /I had to place my female cat on a diet because she had developed a binging habit and managed to eat her and her brother's food in a matter of moments which only led to extra pounds and many digestive issues which I was not happy about cleaning up. The worst part was the horrific meowing that would begin about an hour before her feeding time. I love my cats like they are my children, but during each hour before feeding time, I was ready to snap their necks. The worst hour was in the morning when the meowing directly next to my ear would begin at 4:30am and would last until their 6am feeding. It took some getting use to the feeder for one of my cats (the food hoarder ironically enough) but with time and my refusal to feed her manually, she took to it in a matter of days and hasn't had a single stomach "issue" yet. The best part is that I am finally able to get a good night's sleep without the incessant meowing that drove me crazy before. Besides the obvious freedom of no longer having to rush home to feed my cats throughout the day, the customer service provided by Super Feeder was also amazing. Prior to purchasing this product they were wonderful about replying to all of my questions via email within one to two hours regardless of what time of day or night I sent them. It may seem like a lot to spend on a feeder (two here), but it more than pays for itself both in utility, quality, dependability, and especially the freedom. For the first time in 7 years, I can actually take a vacation without having to take my cats with me because I don't have anyone that I trust enough to feed them while I am away. Thank you Super Feeder! Did I mention BUY THIS FEEDER? You won't be sorry!br /
