 A filter for Capresso Coffee Makers January 1, 2009
I have bought these filters for years and was glad to see them carried on Amazon. br /br /I noticed that a couple of reviewers who rated this item one or two stars based on the Capresso filter being the wrong size for coffee makers made by Hamilton Beach. Apparently, these persons are capable of ordering an item from Amazon, but are incapable of understanding that these filters are made to fit Capresso coffee machines. They gave the filters low ratings, not due to the performance of the filter, but due to their own ignorance in reading comprehension. It is ashamed that they will never see or read my review but, then again, I harbor no expectation that these words would be understood. Hopefully, these people do not order shoes online.

When I ordered the Capresso Grind Brew Coffee maker, these filters were listed as complimentary items. However, they are not designed for the coffee maker I ordered, so I had to return them.
Perfect fit and filter but is it necessary December 11, 2008
The Capresso coffee duo is the best I've ever used, however I've had it repaired twice in the past two years. Regardless, their customer service is excellent and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I've been using these filters which work as described; you place one in the little basket, push the external button, then see a green light glow until it starts blinking about two months later and you need to replace the filter, when the cycle is repeated. I will no longer buy the filters, however, because the prices have escalated and I filter my water for consumption. I have one remaining filter and will use it, but I do believe that if you have another water filtration system, this is overkill. If you do use this filter, be sure to remove it when you clean your system with vinegar and water monthly, which I strongly recommend.

Man do I love my Capresso drip coffee maker. My Capresso needs filters. That's fine. I'd give it gold bullion if it asked...br /Since they are not made of gold, these filters get a 4 for price being a bit too high.br /
