3 cats, 1 box, no smell August 20, 2008 My mother got this for me and I love it! I can easily sweep away the few stray pellets, where before I had to drag out a vacuumm to get the litter stuff out of everything. Easy to clean and change the pad. Don't try and substitute puppy training pads for the Breeze pads though - that becomes more a mess than its worth. All 3 of my cats took easily too it and seem to love it! No more dragging granuals everywhere or trying to clean it out from their toes.
Works Great. More expensive than advertised! (I need two bags of pellets) August 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The first day my cats thought I had totally lost it. I decided to add a second bag of pellets even though Tidy Cats claims you only need one. I found you definately need two. For one, the cats like to dig around and there isn't enough without it. Secondly, if your cat has softer poo all the pellets will stick to the poo and you have to throw them out with the poo which results in less and less pellets each time they use the box. The best part is that the pee goes right to the pad, I hated scooping pee that was stuck to the bottom of the old box and then having to wash out the box. This is much clear, albeit more expensive, but worth it! The pellets do find their way outside the box but I just pick them up and throw them back in. It took about 4 days for my cats to use it for pee and poop. Not scooping the old box was essential to their success, stinky as it may have been.
lifesaver! August 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have an anxious kitty that requires an immaculate litter box. When we travel for a weekend, or if even one of us goes away, he begins urinating on the furniture if the box isn't fresh. I bought the Breeze to see if this didn't help ease him - and it DID! i put it right next to our regular scooping clay box, and he preferred the Breeze for pee. Our other laid back kitty also started to choose the Breeze, except for solid waste. After one month of the old and new box sitting side by side and an additional breeze, we are clay litter free! They adapted easily to not having the clay for solid waste, though they do kick the pellets around a bit trying to cover their poop. Very easy to sweep, but wish the sides went up even higher for my nutty cats.
No stink, no clay all over the floor, no breaking my back carrying boxes of litter!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Amazing!!!! August 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this system about 6 weeks ago and I am such a HUGE fan. I have two cats who (lucky for me) are not the least bit picky about their litter. I've tried everything-- scoopable, crystals, traditional clay litter, wheat litter, pine pellets-- you name it. Even though Purina recommends having two boxes for two cats, I have one box and just change out the liner a little more often. It's AMAZING. I have hardwood floors throughout my home, and there is ZERO tracking, ZERO dust and ZERO stink. You cannot even tell that I have cats in the house (but for their toys and furballs!). I cannot recommend this product enough. RUN and grab it. You will be pleasantly surprised at the improvement.
Breeze is a breeze! August 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the best litter system I have seen in my 45 of cat ownership! We bought the system shortly after purchasing a litter cabinet (table with sides and a hole for them to get in and out) because I HATE litter tracking. So my two boys had to get used to not only the new litter system but totally new way of eliminating at the same time. At first I was worried because, though the pad was wet, I saw no solids for 2 days (I kept looking for a "surprise" around the house). But finally the proof was in the litter. Pads slide right out, pellets scoop easily, clean up outside the cabinet is minimal! I have the cabinet in a common area and we never notice it's there. My only complaint is the lack of availability for purchasing the pellets. Seems everyone is buying them up and Target can't keep in stock.
