 Great Tug Toy October 13, 2008
This is a great tug toy, my dog gets very excited every time I pull this one out of the closet. She doesn't like to grab the Kong as much as the rope itself but either way she had great time with it. The only drawback is the clean up, the rope breaks during tug game so it is hard to clean up if you play it on carpet like we do... I have to vacuum almost every time we play tug with this. But overall good toy, dogs love it.

I've never had a dog before and when we met with a trainer she suggested getting a Kong for her. I got this thinking that with the rope - it would be the perfect toy. Our puppy loved it. Thought it was great. But she really only liked the rope part of it. I tried putting different soft foods (peanut butter really) in the crevices -- but that never really took. It was a pain to clean out the dried peanut butter. But she kept on playing with the rope. It was a fun toy to take outside in the yard with her.
I would recommend the classic Kong if you're looking for something to hide treats in for your dog. This is great if you're looking for a great chew / rope toy.

This is "the" chew toy for aggressive chewers, unlike others that claim to be chew proof. This Kong toy will give years of chewing satisfaction plus is a great pulling/tug toy, too! Two thumbs up! Tested and approved by a cattle dog!

We have a medium size terrier and this is perfect size for the dog. He is very picky about toys but liked this one instantly and week or two later we noticed some improvement in his teeth cleanness.

We purchased the Kong Medium Dental Dog Toy with Rope for our 3 dogs for Christmas, and it has been another big hit! It's great because 2 dogs can play with it & each other (or you) at once - with each being on one side tugging as hard as they can - plus, it helps to clean their teeth at the same time!
Overall, I would highly recommend this dog toy! It's sturdy, helps with dental hygiene, and is fun at the same time - you really can't beat that!
