It's not working! November 17, 2008 I bought this bag to restrain my cat for Sub-Q treatment purpose. I got the bag on time from one of the Amazon sellers at the right size; but the bag didn't work out as the other reviewers' words at all. It's extremely hard to get the cat inside the bag, and after get in, he still can roll inside the bag and pull back his legs, so the treatment cannot be performed at all!!!!!! This bag is worthless!!!!! Plus, the material is not comfortable for cats at all, too hard! We don't like it for sure.
Helped with force feeding February 24, 2008 My cat required force feeding for a bit. He did everything possible to resist the force feeding, and until we got this product it was a miserable process for all. This thing worked like magic for my little guy; it was as if he knew from the moment he got in this thing that he needed to relax and not fight us. Upon letting him out, he really didn't seem particularly upset, did not run or hide from us as he'd done without the sack. We're definitely going to use this whenever he needs any foods or medicine. Makes it less unpleasant for all of us.
Too small for my larger breed cats January 23, 2008 I does work fine for most breeds of cats. However, by the time the Ragdoll and Maine Coon cats are a year old, the large is way too small.
Kitty doesn't like December 27, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
... One cat doesn't like it, but will tolerate it. The other HATES it, but as this is the same cat that will claw and bite anyone who tries to groom her, she'll have to live with it.br /... I use in coordination with the muzzle from the same company, otherwise I'd never get her in there. You can remove the muzzle once the cat is strapped in, unless seeing their predicament makes them even more agitated.br /... My only complaint is that I bought the large, but it seems too small. She's kind of stuffed in there, which doesn't help with her cooperation and makes it difficult to get to her back legs.br /... If you're like me, you may wonder why there's only one zipper on the bottom for the back legs. Well, just twist the bag a little and you use the top zipper for one leg and the bottom zipper for the other. That took me a little while to figure out. Of course, it's not easy to concentrate when your cat is acting like she's dying, moaning and crying, the big actor.
What a help! October 2, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My elderly cat requires subcutaneous fluids every day for kidney failure and this was a real lifesaver for me. It makes the process less painful(for me)and quicker for my cat. The Cat Sack is made really well. Love it.
