Don't Bother to Buy   November 29, 2008 I ordered this bed and am returning it immediately. What the profile doesn't say about the bed is that you cannot keep the bed plugged in when not in use. Who has time to run around unplugging the thing as your cat hops in and out of it? I bought the KH heated kitty bed three years ago and it just died, so was hoping for a longer operating bed. But I would rather have a bed that I can keep plugged in (and turns on only when she is in it) than one I have to keep an eye on. Great bed for my chihuahua!   November 25, 2008 We got this recently and it is great! My dog never wants to leave it. The cord has a wire coil around it to protect it from becoming a chew toy! Mine loves it so much...I miss having her in my lap though! At first I didn't think it worked very well because it did not seem warm to my touch. However, after she got up the first time, I felt where she had been laying, and it was very warm. She really really loves it. Very satisfied with this product.
