The description of the product however leads one to believe the product is larger than it actually is. He's sniffed it a couple of times and that's it. I was hoping it would be a good diversion for him from our house plants that he likes to nibble on but it didn't work out. I put it outside and water it twice a week, it looks delicious, my long haired cat just smells it but will not eat; I guess cats are carnivors afer all. I only wish the plastic container was heavier. The idea to tape it to a plate was a good one.
