A great buy!   August 30, 2008 I did not think all of my 4 cats would use this box. Even my very picky 13-year old cat is using it. The clean up is so much easier. I ordered it on sale from Amazon, but quickly went out and bought two more. There are coupons inside the box for $5 off the litter box and $ off of the refills. I have been using mine for about a month now. Change the pads every week, and clean out the boxes every day. That's it. I recommend having an extra bag of litter pellets to supplement what comes in the package (My cats like lots of litter to hide their business). I definitely recommend this litter box. The #1 benefit for me is that you no longer have to deal with the litter "sand" getting all over the room. The downside, however, is that the litter box smells awful as soon as it contains feces. You have to immediately scoop the feces out or else your entire house will smell within an hour. If you aren't home to immediately scoop you will walk in the door and be greeted by an awful smell. Unfortunately, the smell is too much of a downfall for me and I am going to go back to the old style scoopable litter. If they ever come out with a pellet that masks the odor I may try it again. Works Great!   August 26, 2008 Love this product! Works great and I haven't had any smell of cat urine since switching over...easy to use, eliminates the smell..... Absolutely love this!   August 26, 2008 We have had this system for about a month now. We have 2 cats using the one unit. It took my male cat minutes to actually pee in it and a formal introduction for my female to go and use it. While they continued to use the litter for pooping. I covered the old litter box with a towel, keeping it in the room but I put the new box in the location of the old box. I kept it this way for 2 days and had no problems with them using the new system. The female cat always wants to bury her poop but the male goes and leaves, making it easier to clean. I change the pee pad every week and odors are not a problem. I make it a point of cleaning out the poop right away, not that leaving it ther is a problem because for some reason 'their poop doesn't smell so bad' with this system versus the litter. I was using Tidy Cats before - seemed to work the best to my liking compared to many other brands. I have no reason to trun back - I am a believer and a happy one at that for this pellet system. I love it!
