 Poor Quality November 25, 2008
This product is not worth the investment. I've had it for less than 2 weeks and it has started to rip apart at both sides. You are better off to probably purchase a welcome mat of some sort at your local hardware store.

This mat catches better than a rug or carpet, but for our big cat it doesn't catch all of the litter. Maybe I expected too much.br /

Before I bought this mat I had a smaller plastic one that had little pokey pieces of plastic sticking up to catch the litter. It caught the litter well enough, but one of my cats didn't like stepping on it (I assume she didn't like the feeling on her paws) so I would still get litter all over. But this mat is great. It's softer, so she actually steps on it (which is kind of the point...) and it catches most of the litter. Definitely worth the price to not have to vacuum every day!

This mat seems to catch most, if not all, of the litter! I am really happy w it, and it is soft under the feet as well which is nice. I first bought the small one, especially because I had thought that this one was way too expensive, but it didn't do much as it didn't cover enough space and the cats bypassed most of it when exiting the litterbox. I exchanged it for this larger-sized one and it has REALLY made a difference. This mat, as it is supposed to do, seems to "trap" most of the litter within the fibres as the cats walk over it. I initially bought this brand as per the recommendation of the nice gent at Petsmart... I am glad I listened to him!br /br /Along w this, I HIGHLY recommend the Omega Paw self-cleaning litter box.... it is absolutely WONDERFUL!!
