The top basket is large and roomy for my cats to snuggle in. The only draw back would be the smallness of the lower cubby. It will accommodate a smaller cat but not one that weighs more than 13-15lbs. But over all, I would buy this again and recommend to a friend! Easy to put together. I mainly wanted it as a scratching post for my older cat so I like that the posts are carpeted. The carpet is not very high quality but I kind of expected that. It is fairly sturdy except if a cat is in the very top it will wobble a bit. I submitted a picture so you can get a better idea of the size it was smaller than I thought it would be. I looked everywhere for a real picture of this thing when I was shopping so I felt I could help the next person. Overall I am happy with this cat post.
