really nice and soft. make sure to use the measurement chart, because the extra large just fits my shih tzu and lhasa at 20 lbs each. you cannot use these for any dogs larger than that. my 9 lb shih tzu wears a medium, if that gives you any indication. they are made for small dogs only. much more forgiving and soft for the dogs than the usual ones in the pet store. and easier to put on too.
