 This harness has saved my wrist and shoulder May 28, 2008
I have 2 Lab/Shepard mixes that total around 160 pounds together. Our boy dog was a horrbile puller who was making it nearly impossible for me to walk him without my boyfriend's assitance. He would pull roughly when we approached other dogs. This harness has been a life saver.

I can not express what a good deal this thing is. I have wasted so much money trying different collars and harnesses for my 2 year old Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix, Cooper. He would pull so hard he would stand up on two feet and choke himself relentlessly until his eyes turned bright red and he couldn't breathe. Other than walking he behaved perfectly. I used as much behavior training as I did collars and still couldn't get him to walk. I was skeptical about this harness at first just because nothing has worked. But I figured I would give it a try based on all the good reviews I had read, not expecting much. First time I put it on him he walked perfectly like he had been doing it forever. I am still amazed. I would recommend this for anyone with the same problem. It takes a little bit to get it to fit just right, but once you do you will never have problems again!

I couldn't believe how fast the gentle leader easy walk harness worked! First time out with the harness, our son's dog - a real puller on walks - transformed into a tame labrador that my 95lb wife could now walk with ease. Way to go!

As a dog trainer and for my own dog, I love the gentle leader products!! I do actually prefer the gentle leader head collar even more than the body harness for control of very strong dogs but I have seen people happy with the body harness as well. Either way, it is great to stop the dog from pulling on a walk without damaging their neck.

Had ordered Gentle Leader collar, which was better than the choke chain I'd been using, but Sierra still pulled and bucked like a horse. I ordered the Gentle Leader Harness and I love it! It gives more control and Sierra stands still while I put it on. Nothing is perfect, but this harness is the best and kindness tool I've found to control a 100 lb. dog with tons of muscle!
