Fantastic Products, MUST HAVE for dog owners October 15, 2008 Frontline Plus is by far the best flea/tick pesticide I have ever used. I have been a dog owner my entire life and I have tried many different products, none have worked as well has Frontline. It is a little costlier than the other brands, but it works much better.br /br /If I forget to put an application on my dog, within days of the missed application he will have a tick on him. Once the missed application is applied, the ticks just die and fall off. This is a great product for dogs, and is safe for children and family members. br /br /Frontline is waterproof and will last the entire month as promised. I live in the northeast and we get a lot of precipitation, and the frontline always works, wet or not. Many of the other Brands just wash off, or are less effective.br /br /Some dogs may get a little upset when you first put it on them, there is a slight burning sensation when first applied, but it goes away after a few minutes. My dogs don't even notice it anymore. br /br /I highly recommend this to any dog or cat owner out there. Whether you live in the city or the country Frontline is the best, don't give you pet anything but the best when it comes to flea/tick prevention.br /
Effective but a bit expensive September 30, 2008 Our 2 puppies got it this year and, as far as I can tell, they are bug-free so far. I can't say whether this is because of Frontline or because there are no fleas in surroundings but, until evidence to the contrary emerges, I will give Frontline the credit.br /br /The makers claim that Frontline Plus kills all fleas and prevents re-infestation for up to one month. For 'paralysis tick' protection, bi-weekly application is recommended but results are not guaranteed.br /br /The product comes in a number of 'pipettes' that contain an oily-sticky liquid that is applied on the back of the dog's neck's, on the skin (must part the coat until the skin is visible). The makers recommend monthly applications.br /br /I found it easy to treat the dogs. Given the relatively high price of this product, I've been using one pipette for our 2 puppies. As they are now big, this may no longer be an option but I can see how this option could be a money saver for anyone who has 2 'not so large' dogs.br /br /I am taking one star away because of the ridiculously high price.
A+ July 14, 2008 Kills fleas and their eggs for a month, along with ticks - I've yet to find one, whereas I did with Revolution (though it was dead).
Frontline Plus July 12, 2008 Product arrived promptly. Very happy. Amazon had the lowest price and free shipping. What a deal. I saved about 20 bucks (and gas) not picking this up at my Vets. Thanks Amazon !
webDogTrainer.com review June 26, 2008 As a dog trainer and for my own dog I like this product. I like to go hiking with my large dog and this is great for tick season! br /br /-Julie the online dog trainer from www.webDogTrainer.com
