This leash didn't last very long, and from the 1 year very limited warranty, you shouldn't expect it to. Between rubbing on trees and the dog chewing on it (which is not covered by the warranty), the cord broke and was no longer of any use. Replaced it with an AspenPet Wide-Webbed Leash. We'll see if it's any better. br /br /I like the Smoother operation of the Flexi better than the AspenPet, and maybe the flexi wide band leashes would work better, but it wasn't available at PetSmart when I went to buy it, so I got the AspenPet. There is also no warranty info on the AspenPet packaging or website. So rely on the reviews.

We had purchased 1 of these at our local pet supply store and found it to be expensive. I came home looked it up online found it here for less! The catch is I was able to buy the "2" I actually needed for only $10 more than the one at the store...that is with shipping included!!!
Great leash for Sigmund April 21, 2008
Lightweight and easy to manage. The pup loves the freedom to roam. The mechanical part of the leash is well made and responsive. This is my second Flexi Leash as the pup partially chewed through the first leash -- mea culpa. I recommend this leash to anyone who has a pup who likes to wander a bit as he walks along. I feel very confident with my pup on this leash. Highly recommended.

Easy to use and dfasten and not too heavy for an older person to use. I recommend this product to all pet owners.

I have two 5-month old Jack Russell puppies, and they pull very strongly on the leashes, and even though they both weigh under 15 lbs, it pushes the limits of this particular leash.br /br /The first time I used these, one of them broke at the connection near the clasp and the string retracted all the way into the holder. I had to pry it apart and feed the string back out, put it back together, and tie the broken pieces together. Since then it has worked fine, and the second leash has held up just fine.br /br /The flex-grip is comfortable, but almost too small for a good hold on this size. My puppies have ripped them right out of my hands several times.br /br /Overall, good quality for the money, but I would recommend this size only for very tiny dogs.
