This container says it holds up to 40lbs of dog food, but rather it holds almost 40 lbs. We had to put some of the food in a baggie, but other than that, it's a great air tight container and the wheels make it super easy to move around. Not at all cumbersome.

I have two of these in the garage to store various kinds of bird food. They roll easily, seal well, and are easy to remove seed from with the horn scoop that I use. Will fit a 40lb bag of seed.

This is a total ripoff by whoever is selling this item! 30 Pounds?! What are stuffing this thing with dog food for me? These bins are at most 5 lbs. and can be shipped to you for as cheap as $7 from elsewhere (Petsmart, Target). The seller is just tryin' to make an obsurd amount of $$$ off of shipping!
