 My Old English Sheepdog loves this toy!!! January 1, 2009
I got one of these for my Old English Sheepdog puppy 15 months ago. This is an interactive toy and not meant as a chewer ( he loves bones too!!! )...I throw and he fetches...then we play keep-away for 5 minutes until I am able to wrestle it away from him, then I throw it and he fetches...and we play keep-away for 5 minutes...until he eventually brings it back and it becomes "hurl" and fetch. He just loves it and we play several times a day, rain, snow or shine!!! After about a year and umpteen hours of use, the rope came apart at the splice. I tied the frayed ends together and while it doesn't sail as nicely as it used to, the hanging rope looks like a tail and he loves it even more, tossing it into the air and giving it "the shake." This is his favorite toy.

My Puppy Lab did chew this toy apart with in 15 minutes. But she had fun going it. So one star for this product.

I have an 8 month old golden retriever that likes to tear toys to shreds. This one has withstood over 2 months of torment and is still going. We have a few of these toys, chuck a duck, hurl a heffer, heave a beaver, toss a possum, etc. He love's em' all and it's fun for him to retriever and easy for us to play tug of war. He loves it and I love that I don't have to buy as many of them as they are durable. Don't hesitate, get this for your dog!
