Pretty good for the price September 1, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have a six 1/2 month kitten who eats this. This is most definitely not the best canned food out there, but for the price value, its pretty good. The first three or four ingredients are whole meat, with the fifth being a by-product (chicken). After that, it has some processed grain etc. br /My kitten will eat about two - two 1/2 cans every day. I supplement it with The Missing Link Cat Supplement (approx. 20 bucks for 90 days worth) which provides most of her other nutrition needs. She has an extremely soft coat, which is silky. I fed her the more expensive Science Diet but stopped after a couple of weeks due to its bad reviews and because my kitten didn't like it very much. br /If you want your cat to live to a ripe old age and you don't want to deal with health problems later, feeding canned food is really the best way to go as opposed to dry food. Of course, many vets now recommend freeze dried raw food but I find those to be too expensive/time consuming. This stuff is about 30-40 cents a can at your nearest pet shop and your cat will love the taste. I will continue to buy this and feed it to my kitten until I hear anything bad about it otherwise.
