Product Description Rubber grips or bite-zones provide outstanding comfort and safety for both the dog and owner. The center connector with Control-Flex technology eliminates potentially dangerous snap-back and provides a comfortable and controlled playtime.
Amazon.com Review Tugging is one of a dog's most instinctive activities. In the wild, it's an important part of how packmates feed cooperatively, and in domesticated environments, it's a great energy expender for the active, playful canine. But it's important to carefully control when, how, and where a dog plays tug with a human. One of the most crucial factors is to have a toy dedicated to the game, so dogs won't think it's OK to start tugging on your socks or the leash. With this innovative, dual-material toy, Kong brings their legendary quality and durability to the game of tug. Flexible and super-strong grips are made from Kong's proprietary rubber formulation, while the rings feature durable nylon construction. Original "Control-Flex" technology prevents the toy from snapping back into one of the players' faces, promoting a safe, controlled version of a game that can sometimes get out of hand. The Kong tug measures 16-1/4 by 5-1/2 by 3/4 inches and is suitable for all sizes and breeds. I--Mary Park/I

Great unless your dog loves to chew things October 30, 2008 My dog is a pit-bull/lab mix and loves to play tug. He also loves to chew.I was hoping that the Kong Tug Toy would last a little longer than it did. It was destroyed in about two weeks. Oh well maybe someday I will find a toy that can stand up to Buddy the master of destruction.
King of Dog Toys October 4, 2008 The King of dog toys is Kong. My pitbull terriers love theirs playing tug-a-war with each other. Strong and still in operation like the day I received it.
Great INTERACTIVE Toy May 19, 2008 I have this toy and my dogs love it. I think some people who are having problems with it may not understand that it is not a chew toy. Any dog given enough time and determination can take this apart. This toy should be used to interact with your dog and then put away for next time just like their lead.
Great Tug Toy! May 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have a real tough time believing some of these negative reviews here on this toy. I have a 110 Lb. Rottweiler and Tug O' War is her favorite activity. I have tried several other T.O.W. toys, but this one is by far her favorite. The durability of this toy has been incredible, the same one for about a year now, and we play with it every day.br /br /Ever play Tug O' War with a Rottie? I can't believe it's lasted this long!
waisted my money February 29, 2008 the plastic is not very sturdy if your dog has a strong bite. This product is not chew proof.
