 Ripped open in less than 5 minutes October 4, 2008
My 15 lb dog ripped this toy open between the eyes almost as soon as we gave it to him. What a waste of money. I wouldn't buy any toys from Jakks Pacific ever again. We've had much better luck with the Dr. Noys and Plush Puppies toys.

My weeiner dog Hershey was given one of these three years ago after becoming paralyzed. This is his best friend. He is running now and his little buddy goes too. I have repaired it so many times from all the "love" it has gotten. I have looked for another one for years in case the other became beyond repair. I bought two of them!
 The sound chip didnt' work in this..... August 8, 2008
Although my Yellow Labrador seems perfectly happy with the two squeakers it has (one on the head, and one at the tail), I was really disappointed that the sound chip was not working. We have no idea what the toy is supposed to sound like, because it has never worked. Other than that, it is a fun toy, very well made. The squeakers will have to suffice!

Another Jakks Pacific Dog Toy - our dog (basset hound) loves these toys. The sound chips are great and keep her interested. I would highly recommend this toy.
Ears ripped off right away March 14, 2008

My little guy likes to destroy his stuffed animals. He always gets the squeeker out, then the stuffing. The Jazz AKC certified squirrel lasted longer than any other and he still plays with the empty fur. So I thought I'd buy several more Jaxx AKC toys. The Taffy dog's ears didn't last more than 2 hours. I was reading and when I looked up the floor was covered in stuffing. br /br /Now, having said that, I also want to say the bone with the barking sound chip is a hit with both of us. It's holding up well now for over a week and it still looks as good as new. I'll still be buying Jaxx AKC toys for my Neezer, but I'll avoid those with ears, tails or other sewn-on parts that will be easy for him to rip off. br /br /The stuffed barking bone Jakks Pacific 2040 Max Lucy - Plush Barking Bone w/Sound Chip - LG is a winner (if I can get used to "squeek-squeek-squeek" all day, I can get used to the sound chip's barking). A friend says the goose has lasted well with her Malamute and the fire hydrant looks like another winner.br /br /If your dog doesn't rip stuffed animals up right away, any of Jaxx AKC stuffed toys will work great for you. They are the best made and toughest of any stuffed toys I bought Neezer.
