 good, with modifications September 4, 2008
So my roommate's cat took to this toy right away. My cat was not so excited. However, I punched a hole in it and added a string so I could move it around. Now my cat loves it!

As soon as I opened the Amazon.com box with the cat toy inside, the cat could smell it right away. It provided about one or two hours of fun before it was sufficiently stipppd of it's cat nip odor. It was worth it for me, but you might want to consider just buying catnip by itself for more long lasting results. I would buy this again though, just to watch the crackle fun.

After five minutes with this thing, my cat has lost her grip with reality. The combination of catnip and crackle has driven her to the brink of madness. It has instantly become her favorite. The material appears to be strong enough to withstand frequent attacks over a long period of time. I guess I'll have to get used to the inevitable crackling in the middle of the night.

My cat goes bananas for this thing! I'm sure if your cat is like mine, he/she loves plastic bags, and this toy sounds just like one when you or your cat touches it. I definitely recommend this.

... My cat is a plastic bag fan as well, and went after this like a nut for a while, but they get bored with everything.
