Good for toys, not for food October 25, 2008
The latch on this thing was broken off by my cats within a week. It's easy to knock over and gets food everywhere. My cats and dogs can easily get into the container, even when the latch wasn't broken. This container is no longer being used to hold food in my household. Instead it holds the pets toys. They can still get into the container, but at least the mess isn't as bad.

This is the cheapest-made thing I have ever purchased. If I could have looked at it and touched it before I bought it, I wouldn't have ordered it. It comes with the top and bottom detached. The 'hinges' are the smallest, thinnest little tabs that you are supposed to weave in and out of the other side of the hinge. You can tell immediately this hinge is not going to work. I did it anyway and lo and behold, when I opened and closed it ONE TIME, one of the tabs broke right off. I got both sizes of this container and after opening them, immediately wrote the company. They refunded me almost instantly. I have never written a review before but feel anyone considering buying this needs to be warned. I wrote the company and suggested they find a different manufacturer for this product. CHEAPLY MADE!
