I have 3 cats and two of them were kittens at the time that I bought this item. None of them would have anything to do with this sac and would fight me when I tried to show it to them. On their own, they ignored it. So, I am writing this review for them. Don't buy this sac, just give them a paper bag!
 Good for cats but not kittens October 9, 2008
I originally bought them for my two 9 week old kittens and the crinkle sound scared them so they wouldn't go near it. Now that they are older, they play with the stringed pom pom all the time. They aren't afraid of the crinkle anymore, but they never go into the sac still. So I place the sac on a chair or ottoman and they will attack the attached dangling pom pom and play with it. The only problem is that sometimes they will pull pretty hard and drag the sac down unless you stuff it with books or lay something heavy on it. Since it's the only thing they play with, it's cheaper to just buy the cat dancer or any sort of dangling toy.

Thought it would be a bigger sac, neither one of my cats show much interest in the sac. I do believe that is because it is just not big enough.br /Other wise it is pretty good quality.
Nice noise but poorly designed January 2, 2008
This "bag" collapses flat on the floor--all the photos for the product make it appear to be something they can crawl into. This is almost as likely as if you put a pillowcase on the floor. It needs some sort of ribbing along its length. However, they do like the noise when they walk on it.

I don't think my cats are larger than average, but unless I try to bag them they stay away and then they only stay inside maybe a minute. Once bagged, there is not enough length and their head is out. The reason they like brown paper bags is they are fully covered and like to have a surprise exit on a passerby cat. On the plus side it is well made, but rather over-priced for what it is.
