Product Description Ideal for big cats or multiple-cat households, this large roll-away litter box quickly self-cleans, while controlling dust and containing odors. Simply roll the litter box to the right until the top touches the floor, and then roll it back to the upright position. The unit's internal mechanism deposits the clumped waste into the pullout waste tray for easy disposal. The system works only with clumping litter, and the waste tray separates clumped waste from clean litter, so clean litter is never thrown away. The litter box makes it easy to provide the cat not only with a clean litter box, but also with privacy due to the covered pan design. The litter box also helps save money--no more scoops, liners, or filters to buy. With a silver top and blue base, the litter box measures 19-1/2 by 22 by 20 inches with a 9-by-9-inch opening.

This is the best litter box for the money on the market July 22, 2008 I hate changing the litter box, and I hate the smell. Neither is a problem any more. It takes less than a minute to remove the latest deposits and get rid of them (I use a flushable litter, so it's really easy).
For two cats, I cleaned out the box and refilled it about once a month. Now that I have just one, I can go longer with no trouble (the big cat that remains seems to eat, and therefore produce, very little -- the little cat that moved away processed massive quantities of nutrients).
I LOVE this litter box, and have recommended it to friends. It's outstanding! It's the next best thing to teaching the cat to use (and flush) the toilet -- but that would be more work than this litter box.
A truly ingenious invention. July 18, 2008 This thing is really one of the greatest inventions I've ever come across. If used correctly it makes cleaning the litter box much easier and quicker. With two cats, I cleaned it in the morning and evening. People never knew I had cats when they came over. I have two of these boxes. I found that every couple of months I'd put the spare in the house and take the used one outside to be hosed down and cleaned. I've found that after cleaning, wiping the inside down with some Armor-All, keeps the litter from sticking to it and keeps it cleaner.
The Omega Paws website has a good video which shows how it works. This thing really is a great time saver!
Love It July 17, 2008 Really fast delivery.
Was a snap putting together. Cat went right to it. Love the fact of no more inhaling the dust when scooping to clean. Glad now that I didn't go for one of the expensive self cleaning ones.
Flawed design? July 15, 2008 Great concept. Cheap material, flawed design.
I got lucky. I must've gotten a really flawed one.
After seeing such high reviews on this, I decided to purchase it. It worked great for the first few times. Then it started to not filter right. When I pulled out the tray, much clean litter along with the dirty litter filled it up completely. I dumped all litter out and figured the filter must have not fastened right. I reassembled the pieces and it worked fine again. Then after a few more times it started to fill up the tray again. Also, the litter started seeping out through the edges when I rolled even when I locked the locks. Now it's becoming a complete hassle as I end up with more mess than a regular litter box. I also think my cats are not very fond of it as the space for them to actually do their business is very cramped, especially when this is a hooded litter box. I ended up discarding this litter box and bought a larger hooded antimicrobial litter box and started scooping it everyday. It's actually not as much of a hassle as I thought it would be, and it's healthier for the cats anyway. Cleaner, less bacteria, less odor, happier kitty cats.
This box rocks! July 15, 2008 I set up the cat box two days ago. We have a Maine Coon (long-haired) big kitty. As soon as I put the clumping litter in, Zeus dove in and started exploring. I was worried at first because it seemed like there wasn't going to be that much room for him but he loved it. He immediately "christened" the box and has been using it faithfully ever since. Emptying it was a breeze and it saves so much litter - I am definitely impressed! It is so clean and I don't even have to worry about wearing gloves or anything! There hasn't been any smell whatsoever from the box! That is the main reason I wanted it and it has been so easy to empty. I highly recommend this box to anyone who loves having a cat but hates the stinky cat box odor in the house b/c this box is great for controlling odors.
