Great 'shedding' tool September 5, 2008 We purchased the FURminator on the recommendation of our son, who has two huskies - although our shepherd/terrier mix is smaller than the huskies, she still has a lot of hair to shed, and the FURminator does a great job in combing much of it out.
We were thankful for the recommendation. Also, we have seen the much smaller tool sold at Petsmart, for just about the same price, and were glad we had the 4" one instead - much more effective.
Also, it came really FAST!!! Within a couple of days of placing the order!
LOVE IT! September 5, 2008 This product really lives up to the hype. I have a golden retriever and I'm amazed at how much more hair this picks up after using my old brush.
Life saver... September 5, 2008 I could not be any more satisfied with this dog brush. As a dog owner for over 20 years, this is the tool I wish I had owned all along. It cuts down immensely on the amount of shedding with my English Bulldog. I could not imagine how handy it would have been to have used this when we had a German Shepherd.
Great Product at a GREAT price. September 5, 2008 These are the best dog brushes. And for the price you offered it for was the best by far.
It's OK September 5, 2008 This "brush" is OK. My sister in law bought this brush at a local sporting goods store for $70 and has just raved about it. So, finding it on Amazon for $30 with free shipping - I jumped on it. We both live on farms and have large dogs that shed LOTS. I dont think it does any better than our regular dog brush. You have to be careful not to rub the skin raw - especially in those areas that dont have much hair. I wish I would have saved my money and just used the brush I already have. It's not like it doesnt take the hair out, but so does a $5 brush from WalMart - and they dont usually leave a skin burn..
