Works great August 15, 2008 As all the other reviews said the furminator took an amazing amount of hair off my dog. It was a lot easier to use than most of the brushes I have tried too. My dog didn't seem to mind it at all. You do however have to still brush on a regular basis. It is not a miracle worker.
Worth the price as you'll be vacuuming a little less than before. August 15, 2008 Several combs later my friend's Golden Retriever was shedding all over the house all the time and she was tired of the constant vacuuming. Having seen so many positive reviews of the Furminator on Amazon I got one for her. This tool is especially designed shear away the undercoat on a hairy dog. She used it with good results, it took out more undercoat than she was ever able to with her various combs and other tools bought at the pet store. The hair shedding did not stop but there was a remarkable decrease and the dog loves it as he feels cooler with most of the undercoat gone.
The golden retriever loves this tool, as it feels like gentle scratching and doesn't want you to stop, her black labrador does not like it too much. The lab has short, thin and wiry hair and is a little afraid of the blade, but then he does not like most combs either. In my opinion, this tool works really well, especially on slightly longer haired pets.
FURminator Large Yellow deShedding Tool August 15, 2008 Amazing!!! The product works so well and the beast loves it! bring it to the dog park and before long 2-3 people are asking me where they can get one and AMAZON gives you great value for your dollar!
The Furminator dog brush/comb August 14, 2008 This is a fantastic product. It works better than anything else I've tried. I have a Golden Retriever, who has a thick undercoat, and it removes all the loose hair. It's amazing. I highly recommend it.
Furminator August 14, 2008 I like it very much. Our dogs have very thick fur which was constantly becoming so knotted that we had to cut it to get the knots out. The furnminator has helped solve that problem.
