Ohai! am new here and am so pleased to find this kewl forum, and well...i have a problem with me that i hope u can help me with it.
Plz read it to the end, i know it kinda sounds borin but meh..

I live in a place where our feline friends are considered pests who are either abused, killed or sold for money and not well fed. People who obtain cats here r considered weak (cuz they prefere cats over dogs, yea my people's concept is s2pid) and hated by the public, so if u walk with a cat with u in the streets, ppl will look at u with a disgustin look, and some will even point at u and laugh.
They also think that only girls should obtain cats, and consider boys who obtain them r gays.

And yes, am talkin about Egypt here, the place that once (thousand years ago) embraced cats and took care of them more than any1 did, built statues for them and executed those who would harm them.

Even tho, since am a loner, i didn't give a damn about what people will say about me if am a cat lover, actually One of my most favored hobbies is researching about domesticated,lynx and pantherine cats, i also used to help sponsor many of each of the 3 types. I traveled to many places to discover some of the very unknown breeds (like the caracals, they r really amazin) and each time i sponsor them, i love'em more.
Recently i stopped travelin cuz am bein busy with college and work, but started helpin the shelters around my area (Cairo), sponsorin their cats, playin with them etc etc, and checkin on pet shops if they r treatin animals badly, then reportin to the shelters to bust those certain shops who r violatin the rules.

But recently, government stopped helpin us with bustin those shops and prevented us from doin that on our own (well, it's a corrupted government, doesn't care about humans, so how come it will care about animals?) and so we couldn't do anythin to those shops anymore.

Half a year ago i was checkin on a pet shop and found a lil siamese kitty which was like 1.5/2 months old, abandoned by her owner to the shop, and ppl in Egypt hate siamese cats even more than other cats, even breeders who breed Shirazi and persian cats do hate siamese cats and dun like to breed them, and if they happen to meet 1, they throw her to the streets lettin her dye slowly or sell her with cheap price to some shop.

So anyway, the shop wasn't feedin the kitten except 1 time each 2 days, and she was dyin, and since government won't help us with anythin about that, i decided for the first time in my life to help cats way closer than sponsorin, feedin, playin with, rescuin and sendin to shelters etc. Actually i decided to get my own cat, which was the poor starvin kitten who almost died from hunger.

But even my very own family -just like the rest of Egyptians- hate cats badly, and they refused that i get my own cat. They also threatened me so that they make sure i won't get the kitty.

Anyway i couldn't take time thinkin about my family's threats, cuz the kitty was to dye after few days, so i jus rushed to the shop, bought it and brought it home.

Next mornin my sister left the house and decidedt to not visit me anymore (she is married so she's stayin with her husband) my mom stopped talkin to me, and all my relatives stopped visitin me and almost never called me again.

I ignored all that and started to feed Tyrande (yea i named her Tyrande ^_^) and in time she didn't look like walking bones anymore, she actually became a lil bit fat, and stayed with me for about 7 months. She is not grown, not fully grown but after 3 more months she won't be a kitten anymore. But durin all that time, my mom restricted her from runnin all around the house, so i had to put her in a closed room, and since i knew she would feel lonely, i moved my books and PC and other stuff to the room, but not my bed.

But problems didn't stop, and mom started to be so frustrated (she is already physically sick) and i couldn't be trapped in that room forever, i had to go out, leavin Tyrande alone, also the room had no bathroom, so i couldn't train her on peeing in toilet and that stuff, so i had to bring costy litter, which used to be so, SO smelly after 3-4 days so i had to change it every 3 days,also in addition to the high cost, replacin old litter with new litter was too messy. so i decided finally that i can't take care of Tyrande forever...

I started searchin for those who would want a siamese kitten and take care of her really good, i searched all around for about 3 weeks, and all i found was cat haters, persian breeders who hated siamese and others who wouldn't take care of Tyrande well.

One day my friend from north Egypt (Alexandria) and that guy was from the very few Egyptians who loved cats, and obtained one, anyway he told me on msn messanger that he finally found me some 1 who would take care of Tyrande and feed her. He was talkin about 3 girls who used to breed cats but they stopped for a while, and they were very pleased to obtain a new one, but they are kinda fanatic and they would refuse that i contact them to know how things goin with Tyrande, and since i won't trust any one in such cruel society, i refused to give her to them.
Anyway my Alexandrian friend who introduced them to me offered me that he take care of her himself, and that she will have fun with his persian kitty, and he invited me to his hub in the north coast of Egypt (his second home, his main home is in Alexandria).

I went there, and introduced Tyrande to his kitty (which he named her Kitty, lol) but they hissed at each other and Tyrande started attackin her if they r close from each other.

Tyrande wasn't doin well in that new home, she was afraid from everythin, even from me, and she didn't differentiate me from other ppl, and was runnin from me like a stray all the time, rarely eats or drinks. After a couple of days i noticed she started to go out at the hub's garden to discover it, and in time she and the other persian kitty kept runnin after each other, sometimes play with each other, but they were still afraid from each other and sometimes hiss and spit.

The most shockin thing for me was that she considered me just a guy in the hub, like all other people in there, and didn't approach me even once, just runs away from all of us, and she licked my friend for no reason, and didn't do that with me , she totally ignored me, after 7 months of feedin, pettin and playin, she stopped gettin on my lap and purrin for pettin.

She also stopped lookin at me when i call her name (well, she rarely, RARELY did it while at my house, but now she NEVER DOES IT).

Also more problems came, as i found that my friend is not good at takin care of cats, he leaves a very small towel of water to both of them and he only changes it every few days, thinkin that its so ok to do that, he also wana feed them crap food all the time, includin too much tuna (afaik too much tuna kills cats or harms them badly) and he refused very popular dry food.
So i decided not to leave her with him, and now i went back with her to Cairo, but found out that mom totally cleaned the room, as she thought i won't come back with Tyrande with me, and now things r gettin more messy, and i can't find some 1 who adopt her and give her a better life.

So if u guys know some 1 some where, who is interested in siamese cats and can come to Egypt (i know that many ppl come to Egypt just to adopt cats) tell him about her case.

I also wana ask a couple of questions:

1-Why cats never answer when they r called with their names? is there some way in the world they will answer?
2-Why my cat betrayed me so easy tho i fed her very well and played with her for long long time and, well, almost did everythin to make her happy..
