my kitten is 3 mths and 1/2 mths old. she has been having issues with "soft stools" (dark mustard in color, semi formed semi liquid) for the past month or so. she has been to the vet 3 different times (dewormed three times). tested and treated for coccida (with Albon) and then had a round of Flagyl (metronidazole). now the vet says its colitis causing the mushy stools. she has been on forti flora (probiotic from purina) for 6 days with no real improvement. (before that I tried yogurt which my vet had recomended, canned pumpkin-which she refused to eat, and switched her kitten chow to Premium Edge b/c it has no wheat gluten or corn). Does anyone have any recomendations? I'm at my wits end :confused: (and though I love my cats very very much, I can't afford to be at the vet every week!!!). She is otherwise a very active kitten (eats, drinks, terrorizes my 4 year old cat! haha). Any advise would be greatly appreciated!! I never thought I'd be so worried over stool in all my life!!!!
