Poor behavior can be interrupted to communicate with the cat that it’s unacceptable. These can be loud and sudden noises--but in a deaf cat’s case, a vibration such as stomping your foot works better. Tossing a soft bean bag nearby within his line of vision also may help interrupt the behavior, or use the beam of a flashlight to simply distract Akillies from the poor behavior and tempt him to chase and play instead. Good luck!
