Default I adopted 2 littermate kittens (Sasha and Brady) several months ago. Sasha passed awa

I am so sorry to hear that you lost Sasha. FIP is a terrible heartbreaking disease and it can leave many worries behind. Unfortunately, there is a lot we still don't know about this disease. You are correct that FIP is caused by a corona virus that somehow "mutates." Most cats are exposed to the corona virus at some point in their lives and it is not surprising that Brady has a titer to it since he had a known exposure to the virus. Even if Sasha hadn't have had FIP, I wouldn't be surprised with Brady's corona virus titer. There is not a standard for what "high" is with these titers and the titer can go up and down. Changes in the titer may not necessarily be clinically significant. So, I can't say retesting will do anything except make you worry. It is ultimately up to you if you'd like to bring in another kitten. There is always a risk and the risk would be there even if Sasha had not had FIP. There's just no easy answer although if you've cleaned everything well, have waited some time since Sasha's passing and do a gradual introduction to minimize everyone's stress, you can cut back some risk right there. Good luck with everything and we wish you the best
