Default My 6-year-old female domestic short hair, an indoor cat that is not fixed, has begun.

I would most definitely have your cat examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible. Unspayed female cats are at a much higher risk of mammary cancer and my first concern would be to make sure she does not have a mammary mass. There are other health conditions such as allergies and parasites that can cause various skin conditions so these should be ruled out as well. Hopefully, it will be nothing serious but better safe than sorry.
