Default New at cat's world

Hi,
I'm new at this cat's world so I've got lots of doubts, specially about pregnancy. Today my cats were behaving strangely, they were making a strange noise as if they were meeting each other for the first time, so I called my brother and he said it might happen because my female cat might be pregnant.
Is it true? I'm worried because I had to separate them into different rooms in my house.
I just don't know what to do.

If you could help me out it would be great!

Are you saying you have two intact cats, one female, one male?

How old are they?

Take the female to the vet and get her spayed right away! Then get the male neutered.
