I think a lot will depend on the temperaments of your 3 cats (what are their names?), my first cat Ripley is a proper little madam and wasn't at all impressed when we brought a new sister home for her. With lots of attention and patience it soon settled down.
It's often a good idea to keep the new kitten in a pen or a separate room & introduce him or her gradually to the existing cats until they get used to the idea and to rub the kitten with a towel and then rub it on the other cats (and vice versa) so all their scents get inter-mingled.
If things are difficult some members of this forum swear by a plug in diffuser called Feliway to help reduce stress. I'm sure other people here will add to this advice.
You never know, they may all get on from the start!
Keep us updated as to what you decide and how it goes.
