Default Kitty is scared of new home!

Good morning everyone! I'm new here so I'm really hoping I'm posting in the correct section!!

I have a 5 year old DSH named Logan. He's always been very timid. Last week I moved into a new place, it's a basement suite and my landlord has one little boy who is VERY loud. He stomps around the house from 7am till 8pm everyday. Because of this, I haven't seen Logan for more than a few minutes each day. He's scared of the noise and stuck hiding under my bed. He's barely eating or drinking. He has a really depressed look on his face when I do get to see him. I'm really worried about him and I don't know what to do. I know all cats are different, but when can I expect him to adjust to living in this new and scary place? Is there anything I can do to help him be more comfortable? I would hate to have to move again because of this, but I will if I have no other choice.

Thank you so much for any advice you guys can give me!!

According to me, your cat takes some time to accept a new place. I can also have a cat and before few months, I can also shift in my new home, in that place my cat behavior is also changed like your cat. But, after few days my cat behaves normal and now my cat daily play with me. I think you don't need to worry, but your cat takes time to accept a new place.

I think that it can take some time for kitten to accept the new place as a new home
