I think you need to speak further with your veterinarian about what is going on with your little kitten. Nizoral is an anti-fungal medication used to treat ringworm in cats. Ringworm is not actually a worm, but a fungus that is contagious to people and other animals. Your veterinarian should have more complete instructions for you on when your kitten should be rechecked It is a good idea to have some lab work checked while your kitten is on the medication to be sure it is not having any toxic side effects. I would also contact the pet store that you bought her from as the other kittens in her litter most likely have ringworm also.
Ringworm can be a very difficult disease to treat. In some cases, the cat or kitten may need to be treated for months and, in many cases, all the animals in the house may need medication. Ideally, you should keep your kitten separate from other animals in the house, preferably in a small area that is easy to clean (the ringworm spores float around in the air). You will want to vacuum everything the kitten has been in contact with and throw away the vacuum bag, disinfect what the kitten has been in touch with and wash your hands every time you handle the kitten. While it is so tough in a little one like this, you will also want to minimize your cuddling with her so you don't get ringworm as well. Shaving is often not a good idea unless recommended by your veterinarian. In some cases, medicated dips or shampoos may help.
After you talk to your veterinarian or one their technicians further, let us know if you have more questions. This is certainly not a condition to take lightly.
