Default Adding a new cat

This a little tip for people that already own a cat and want to add another. Please read carefully.

Work best is to give the new cat, especially if he is an adult, his own room for a couple of days, one that isn't another cat's favored room, of course.
(This is just like people: The younger your cats are, the less time will be needed by the way; older cats, like people, become very set in their ways and don't welcome change.)
Keep the door closed, and visit the newcomer frequently, talking with him and petting him.

It is very important in a multi-cat household that you give each cat the same amount of affection (They will have enough to deal, if you don't)
Don't show favoritism.

Default I wish I could show them the same affection!

Ever since I introduced Ollball, Max has become a distant little jerkface. He hisses if I try to touch him. He's not a happy camper... Funny thing was - Oliver was his Christmas present! Some present, huh?

Thank you for the advice but I have enough experience on this issue, I think...
