Default New Cat on the Block

Nicholas came to live with us and his adopted cat brothers simply stressed him out, not to mention his adopted dog brother. It seemed he would never adjust. He lost his hair and wouldn't eat much. He wouldn't go outside. It's been about a year, no exagerration. We have accepted that he wants to be a loner. Then today he suddenly came to the breakfast table like all the others do when we make toast. He snaked his way around our ankles, purring. After, he wanted to be cuddled, a little by each of us. Finally, after all this time, Nicholas has suddenly and happily decided to be one of the family.
