Exclamation Unbelievable Behavior

Hi there.

I am new here and I have been searching on the internet
to find the answer to this but I cannot find anything so I
am going to try here.

My cat is usually very well mannered and quite a good boy
but the other day while I was sitting on the couch, enjoying
my TV show, he jumped up onto my lap and sat on me for
a moment or two.

Which is very normal for him except then he turned around
and sniffed where he had been. I thought of this to be strange
so I made him get down and all of a sudden I realized that
he had PEED on me! I couldn't believe myself and I am
very curious to know what this means!

If anyone could help with an answer, I would be truly grateful.
Thank you for your time!

Talking Cat's can easily be "pissed" off about things...

Cats have many ways of communicating. Peeing on you or next to you in plain sight is a way of telling you something is wrong. Either their is an environmental or a dietary problem. My greatest cat, one who lived to be 25, would pee as a way of saying clean my box or get me some food, but only when I was sick. One time, after a long night of partying, I was laying on the bathroom floor, absolutely hung over and sick to my stomach and my dear cat walked by, stopped, and peed on the wall next to my head. The only reason was I did not do my job. Did not feed her, or change her litter. So, look at the environment, see what may be changed or different.
