Default Extremely active cat

I have a six-year-old cutie but sometimes she seriously freaks out! She jumps at everything, runs around the house like a maniac making weird monstrous sounds like howls. She rips my posters, uses anything -the whole bed, chair, pencils, socks, especially me- as a toy when her play-time comes. I've had two cats before and none of them were as into playing as this one. She sleeps very little and starts playing immediatly if you make the mistake of waking her up.

So my question is, is she going to be like that all the time? Or is this the teenage
phase?

Heh, you might be stuck. Of 3 we had, the first two relaxed greatly right about at the 1 year mark, but the youngest never did slow down! She started crazy and excitable, and stayed that way.
