Default peeing problem

my cat keeps on peeing in its catbed. when we first got her she was fine, did everything in the litter tray. now all of a sudden she pees in her cat bed. and litter tray was like in the same room! i don't understand! we removed the blankets and she peed again on her bed. could it be a medical reason?? how do i know if its medical before i visit the vet? what colour urine is normal? her's was like a light browny colour... i dnt no if it was the blanket making that effect? but a few days ago i saw a little dot of blood. could it be periods?
how can i tell her not to pee in her bed. we took her bed away now.
also she keeps on cleaning her genital area and tail. might she be pregnant? cos her nipples have gone more pink?

whats wrong with her?

she is 7 months, got her in august so she was around 5 months and a half.
do you know if there are any signs of illness before I visit the vets. Vets are costly and I wouldn't want to spend £40 on a 5 minute visit when she has nothing! I mean she's not showing any sign of pain, she's playful and lively. A few days ago she was peeing outside and she spent like 5 minutes in her 'peeing position' so maybe she could have been straining?
yesterday i think she was going in her bed, went in the peeing position and did nothing on her bed?
but her personality hasn't really changed, she's still cuddly and playful.

She may have a problem - urinary tract infection/bladder infection. I'd take her to the vet first. Also, maybe put a litter box in your bedroom.

How is your kitty doing?
According to your description she is showing all the classic symptoms of a urinary tract problem either an infection or cystitis. If you've ever had one you know how painful it can be so if you haven't seen the vet please make an appointment.
