Default Kitties Missed Me is this normal

I went on vacation to visit my grandkids in AZ. I was gone for 10 days.On the 4th day my hubby calls and said he could not find the cats. Zoey is the older one. I told my son please look for them there are two persians. Hubby already looked under the bed. They were in my massage room. they stayed there for the diration. When I got home They vomited in several places on several chairs in the dining room thank god they were wood, a blanket and another chair I had to clean. Why did they get sick they are fine now. Same food same everything but just not me home. Just wondering if this is normal behavior when you go away.
Thanks
Deb

It's normal for kitties to miss their owners, especially if you are the primary provider of all the food, attention, etc. My cats did the vomiting thing when I went away on business for 8 days, my vet told me they do that when they are upset, or stressed. If they are fine now, I wouldn't worry about anything, just love them up, let them know you will always come back

Any change in routine is upsetting to our beloved catties, so yes it is normal. I'm glad they had someone familiar (your husband) to care for them and I'm glad they are okay, now.

Hi Deb ! Sounds familiar !

Oh yeah... whenever I'm away from home, my kitties will miss me very much ! So much so they would do certain destruction at home (lamps, feeding bowls, chairs) ! After I'm home again, they will all be so glad and soon they will just forgive me !
