Default Poopy Problems

Hi all, new to this forum.

I'm having a big problem with my 8-week-old kitten, Mochi. She has long, white fur, and she seems to be having trouble pooping without getting poop all over her fur. I find myself cleaning her butt and hind legs 2-3 times per day. It doesn't stop there, the poop gets all over my floors, and even on my other 8-month-old kitty, Zara...

Her poop is very soft and she also will not cover it in the litter box, and sometimes finds it appropriate to poop or pee outside of her litter box.

Your kitten needs to see the vet. Most likely she was worms and needs medicine for that. do NOT use over the counter worming rpoducts, they don't work and can kill your kitten.

Both cats will need to take the medicine as worms are spread from pet to pet.

What are you feeding her?

I agree with acerlt. Cats do that to tell you that something might be wrong about them. Otherwise, it might be a privacy issue. Try to move the litterbox somewhere else and see what happens...
